It's cold now, I can't feel my feet any more, but to say I feel nothing at all would be a lie. I try to warm my hands up, rubbing them together, but stop myself- what's the point? I lift my eyes, scanning the dark horizon yet again, but it remains a cold, harsh line in the distance. The dull throbbing in my chest intensifies to a stabbing, mind numbing pain that screams at me with a ferocity that makes the bleak scene around me hazy for a moment. You're still not here.
